What to Expect on Your First Visit

to Faith Baptist Church!

You've made the decision to visit Faith Baptist church, so what's next? That depends on when you've decided to visit! Outlined below is what you can expect in every service! Regardless of the service though, you can expect a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere filled with folks who love the Lord and are earnest in spreading His Gospel! We provide traditional services on Sunday, meaning we unashamedly preach from the old black book and sing hymns and spiritual songs. On Sunday morning we all meet in the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. for congregational singing and announcements. Near the end of congregational singing the classes for age groups 3-12 head downstairs to their classrooms, dismissal for the classes will be announced by the song leader. At the end of the congregational singing, the teen class heads down with the leaders. The sermon is preached concurrently with the teaching of the youth classes. A nursery is provided for younger children for the entirety of the service! On Sunday Evening we meet in the Sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. where we begin the service with congregational singing and announcements, followed by the message. A nursery is also provided for younger children for the entirety of the service! On Wednesday Nights we meet in the basement fellowship hall for Bible Study. This is a looser structured service in that it allows for questions during the lesson. During the lesson we also have 2 youth classes that meet, called Heritage Kids. These classes cover the ages of 3-12. Teenagers and up are encouraged to attend the Adult Bible Study. After the Bible Study the Men and Ladies split up and we have a group prayer meeting. A nursery is available for Wednesday nights as well!

Meet the Pastor and Associate Pastor

We believe that the true Church of Jesus Christ is an assembly of born again and scripturally baptized believers joined together in the fellowship of doctrine and observing the ordinances and commandments of God. We believe that the new Testament Church is independent, that it owes no allegiance to any tribunal except the authority of Jesus Christ. This renders the church autonomous. Its officers are pastors and deacons
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a regenerate believer by a scripturally qualified administrator in the name of the Father and of Son and of the Holy Ghost as an outward testimony of an inward faith; that such administrator must have the authority of a scriptural church. We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a partaking of unleavened bread and fruit from the vine for the purpose of showing the Lord’s death till he come. Only those who have been properly saved, baptized and received into the fellowship of the scriptural church and continue in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship are entitled to partake of the Lord’s Supper. Therefore, we serve the Supper to our Local membership only.
