Pastor Stan Gustafson

 

Pastor Gustafson was saved on April 20, 1968 at South Moline Baptist Church.  He was called into the ministry in 1976 and attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.  After graduating from Baptist Bible College he went on to start and pastor various churches in the Midwest.  However in 1994 the Lord put a burden on him to start a church in his hometown of Moline, IL.  Faith Baptist Church was started and met in a small store front.  It has since moved to its current location in downtown Moline.

 

Throughout his ministry Pastor Gustafson has been a stalwart defender of the Faith.  He has a love of preaching and spreading of the gospel that is evident in his daily walk and ministry.  He loves the Lord, as well as the ministry and church family that the Lord has given to him.

 

He and his wife, Sue Gustafson, invite you to come and experience the joy that can be had in serving Christ in a local, new testament church!

Associate Pastor Matt Fox

 

 

Pastor Fox was born and raised in the Quad Cities.  He spent his entire youth in the Roman Catholic church system.  He was saved on April 13, 1999 and joined Faith Baptist Church soon after.  He was called to preach in 2001 and studied under the tutelage of Pastor Gustafson at Faith Baptist Church.  When he graduated he stayed at Faith Baptist and helped in various capacities.  He is currently the Song Leader and Teen Leader at Faith Baptist Church.  On May 4, 2014 he was ordained as the associate pastor of Faith Baptist Church.  He continues in his previous positions and also records a (mostly) daily program called Faith Baptist Moments (www.faithbaptistmoments.com).

 

He has a wife, Christy Fox, and 4 children:  Logan, Lazelle, Luke and Emma.
